Cafe Au Bonnet d’ Ane - Quebec, Canada

Here’s a road report from musician Mo Pair, he was brave enough to try some tacos while on tour up in Quebec Canada. Risky bizness! We applaud your valor.
Craig Chin and I dined there on 10/14/06, Sat.
Mo ordered: Les Tacos: Torino
ingredients: Poulet cajun, oignons, poivrons, laitue, tomates, salsa et fromage
price: $11.95 (canadian)

critique: 2 of them. not much like a taco. more like a burrito. i tried to pick it up and eat it, but it crumbled. ate it w/ a fork. edges of flour shell were crispy. nice flavoured sauce inside. vegetable variety as well, and veggie on outside, too, fresh. came w/ french fries and two kinds of mayo. was messy, but pretty easy w/ fork. had a sweet flavor and chicken was saucy, well-done, runny, made me pass some gas. sauce appeared to have been tomato-based. kinda wrap-like; quite unusual, but tasty
Rating: ★★★★★★★☆☆☆

tacos with french fries is the best. I like to dip mine in queso then roll them around in picadillo. That’s how I roll

    fries.
