El Rancho Grande
in either case, time to head out for a little cultural research and taco exploration….
Pastor Al had a beat on this place up by 183 and lamar.. El Rancho Grande.. upon entering, i had the sense that this was just as risky a proposition as icy roads and paranoid drivers.. first off, no central heat in up in here.. just a couple of cheapo plugin space heaters.. ha. i kept my jacket on.. service was crap.. my ice tea never got refilled.. we ran outta salsa.. (the salsa was the only highlight of the meal) beans were cold.. the pierna woulda passed in a bad bbq restaurant as pulled bbq pork. carne guisada needed salt…overpriced.. no heat.. bah humbug.
WWMLKD?
ate, paid, tipped and scurried out into the elements..
tacotown will not be defeated.. the quest continues onward…

Anything on Lamar north of 183 cannot be trusted. Alas, we must press onward through the fog of taco shits, for the boundless glory of taco heaven awaits us in the most unlikely of god-forsaken crannies.

Cabeza your words touch my taco loving soul. Which undoubtedly was shaken by this bad experience. You search on a horrible day to find a little love, only to be beat down by a bad combo plate. El Rancho Grande shame on you!!!!
Ohhhhh and did I mention the beans were like ice pellets no warmth to be found anywhere in this disgrace to honest patrons

Well, new owners acquired the place about 4 months ago and service and food quality has improved some. You should head out there and do a second review!
