As good as Torchy's is, and its two meals a day, five days in a row good, can't betray Maria's when discussing breakfast tacos...chorizo egg and cheese and her migas have never let me down... I also went to a few other restaurants to put things into context. I'm not going to disupte your mentions here, but I would bump the Rudy's offering to the #2 spot. Also, to the readers who haven't already clicked it, the alexis amore link is NSFW. I got a bit of a talking to from the IT guy at my office. I went back to Torchy's after a dip in Barton Creek and a few beers, got the Sanchez. yes it was as good as i'd advertised. thereby confirming its status as my favorite alt-breakfast taco in all of Taco Town.
