The folks at Apartment Food Hobos have reviewed the gorditas at the little Taco truck on Airport called La Canaria. hard to miss- its bright yellow. Anyway- this gordita looks mighty tasty. Check it out>

Are you ready for it? Tacotown is. If you’re competing in the contest, here’s the entry form. Basically you show up at 10:30am with 1 quart of your sauce in a tupperware container, and the $20 entry fee…and here’s a little tip: walk around the fest while it’s still morning, get a taco, taste some shit, then get the fuck outta there. Its too damn hot to sit there all day…Come back around 5pm to hear the results.

Keep your eyes peeled for that tangy roasted green sauce that tastes better than all the others. that would be Chappy’s Elbo Green.
