Texas Taco Fun!
A random google search on “texas taco” came up with these gems:
1. Here’s a band called TEXAS TACO, unleashing their thunderous fury on the interwebs. This anthem is entitled Dreams Will Come True. Yes they will, boys.
2. Rosemary’s Texas Taco – Patterson, NY: a whacked-out taco dive owned by a cazy vampire lady from Houston. There’s an article about the joint here that marvels at a wonderful invention known as a taco serape – a crisp taco shell encased in a soft taco shell (thus solving the breakage and spillage problems), loaded with meat and/or bean filling, cheese, and lettuce. And here’s a little bit from her myspace page:
…Some describe walking into Texas Taco as if it is like stepping into a vortex to another dimension. But don’t be shy! It is the last bit of culture we have around. Rosemary Jamison (of Houston, Texas) is the creator, and owner of The Texas Taco…It is also the home of Chico the parrot and Pepito the cat.

I”ve been dealing with Rosemary from The Texas Taco for about 15 years and I designed her attention getting business cards. This wonderful lady with a zest for living free and everything that defines originality has captured my heart.
Her place and her personality make her so interesting that not even Donald Trump can beat that.
She is so kind, friendly and attentive to your needs that it should make the rest of the world envy her. Just her smile and kind manered gestures can put a thousand jerks like the one that made that nasty comment about her look like a one legged man in an ass kicking contest. (IN OTHER WORDS, INADECUATE TO BE PART OF THE HUMAN RACE) Get a life!

I am the son of the man who made Rosemary”s business cards. This woman who runs this wonderful tex-mex restaurant has followed a dream that most of the modern society would give up on. She is so friendly and has a sence of humor like no other. She is an honorable woman who has also captured the heart of me.
I am 22 years of age and I respect Rosemary more than many others I have met in my life. Anyone who has the statement of she is a dried up bitch, has to look a second time, because you are starting to become a blind idiot.
Rosemary’s Texas Taco will be a great place FOREVER!

Rosemary, I knew you at Jackson Jr. High in sewing class. Recently celebrated our 50th class reunion (Austin High). Love your taco restaurant. Glad you followed your dream.
Best regards,
Lois

I have known Rosemary my entire life and I worked for her @ the Texas Taco for 8 years or so. She is a WONDERFUL woman…anyone who says otherwise can come talk to me. She was my friend, mentor, and inspired so much in who I have become.
