I had some Chico’s Taco’s last year for the first time. Being a native, Tex-Mex loving Texas, I thought it’d be fun. Sadly, it’s true what they say: they’re an acquired taste. Nonetheless, I ate all of them…and they’re mega cheap.

Born and raised in El Paso, Texas, Chicos is pretty much a staple in the city and a must have every time i go back. I have gone to Chuco’s as well in Austin and while they tried to imitate that El Paso atmosphere the taste was nowhere on par with the original.
